SAP Retail Consultant

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-Retail Lead to drive the implementation, optimization, and support of SAP solutions tailored to retail operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise in SAP IS-Retail, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing end-to-end SAP retail projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP IS-Retail implementations, including store inventory processes (e.g., write-offs, adjustments, physical inventory).

- Manage POS inbound/outbound processes using Retail IDOCs.

- Oversee layaway, reservations, and POS business processes to ensure operational efficiency.

- Prepare detailed functional designs for interfaces, master data, and enhancements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.

- Ensure successful integration with external systems (e.g., SAP CPI, POS).

- Conduct workshops, blueprint sessions, testing, training, and handle defect management.

- Monitor SAP system performance, identify issues, and recommend optimizations.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to SAP consultants and developers, ensuring quality delivery.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10- 18 years of total experience with a strong background in SAP IS-Retail.

- Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP Retail implementations.

- Hands-on expertise in store inventory, POS integrations, and retail-specific business processes.

- Strong understanding of functional design, interfaces, and enhancements.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

- Experience with SAP CPI and external system integration is a plus.
