Job Title : SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) & Fuel Accounting Consultant

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and Fuel Accounting Consultant with strong expertise in airline finance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing revenue recognition and fuel accounting processes in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 and aviation-industry standards.

The consultant should have in-depth knowledge of airline revenue flows-passenger, cargo, interline, and ancillary services - as well as the ability to manage fuel cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, and integration with flight operations and other financial systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead design and implementation of SAP RAR solutions aligned with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards.

- Configure and support revenue recognition for passenger, cargo, interline, and ancillary revenue streams.

- Implement and optimize Fuel Accounting processes including fuel cost tracking, inventory management, reconciliation, and variance analysis.

- Integrate fuel and revenue accounting data with S/4HANA Finance, flight operations, procurement, and taxation modules.

- Perform requirement gathering, solution design, functional documentation, and testing (SIT/UAT).

- Work with business and technical teams to resolve issues and deliver end-to-end process improvements.

- Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with aviation's pecific regulatory requirements.

- Drive continuous process optimization and automation within SAP S/4HANA revenue and fuel accounting.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)

- Experience implementing revenue recognition under IFRS 15 / ASC 606

- Hands-on experience with airline revenue processes (passenger/cargo/interline/ancillary)

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Fuel Accounting in the aviation industry

- Knowledge of S/4HANA Finance

- Understanding of airline operational systems (flight operations, scheduling, crew management, etc.)

- Exposure to integration with SAP MM, SD, FICO, and external airline systems

Preferred Qualifications :

- 7+ years of SAP Finance/RAR experience

- Experience in the aviation domain preferred

- Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills
