As an SAP Project System (PS) Functional Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PS solutions, with a strong emphasis on S/4HANA.

This is a client-facing role that requires exceptional communication skills to manage stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and drive successful project outcomes.

You will work closely with business users, technical teams, and other functional consultants to ensure seamless integration and optimal utilization of SAP PS capabilities.

What You'll Bring (Mandatory Skills) :

- Minimum 8 years of relevant functional experience in SAP Project System (PS).

- Multiple Full Cycle Implementation Experience, specifically S/4HANA Implementation (This is a must-have).

- Clear and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as this role involves significant client interaction and stakeholder management.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management, and system architecture, preferably involving the implementation of SAP ECC or S/4HANA, particularly Project Systems processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective.

- Ability to effectively translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.

Key Responsibilities :

Our SAP Project System (PS) Functional Consultant duties include, but may not be limited to:

Business Engagement & Requirements :

- Educate local teams on basic SAP Project Systems functionality and SAP, in general.

- Refine Project Systems process scope, identifying any gaps when necessary.

- Perform system demonstrations designed to showcase existing standard SAP functionality and secure buy-in from customers, while identifying any gaps and/or new requirements.

- Translate local business requirements into related configuration requirements.

System Configuration & Development :

- Perform system set-ups in S/4HANA to meet customer requirements.

- Identify any Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows, and/or any other development objects necessary to bridge requirements with SAP Functionality.

- Create detailed Functional Specification documentation for identified development objects.

- Interface effectively with developers to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and support the development of technical designs.

Security & Data :

- Identify local security requirements and collaborate with Security staff on the creation of necessary security profiles.

- Perform field and value mappings associated with data conversion efforts.

Testing, Training & Support :

- Perform demonstrations of the updated system post-build (Configuration and Development) activities to showcase the incorporation and validate localization requirements.

- Provide support and subject matter expertise during the execution of testing activities and resolve any specific issues identified during testing.

- Work on the development of training materials incorporating requirements and deliver end-user training or train-the-trainer workshops according to plans.

- Provide subject matter expert support during cutover and go-live activities, performing assigned tasks as part of the cutover plan and schedules.

- Provide support post go-live and resolve any emergent issues
