About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant with solid hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of end-to-end project management processes, configuration expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver robust PS solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and participate in SAP PS module implementations, upgrades, and S/4HANA migration projects from planning to go-live.

- Conduct detailed requirement gathering workshops with business users and map business processes to SAP PS functionalities.

Design and configure SAP PS components such as :

- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

- Project Definition, Networks, and Activities

- Cost Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting

- Milestone Billing and Progress Analysis

- Project Settlement and Results Analysis

- Work on integration aspects with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, and PP.

- Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, and user manuals.

- Support data migration during S/4HANA conversions, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation of project-related data.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support, ensuring system stability and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, Basis) for custom developments, enhancements, and issue resolutions.

- Participate in project governance, change management, and cutover planning activities.

- Provide inputs for performance optimization and adoption of best practices in SAP PS.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) module implementation and support.

- Proven expertise in S/4HANA migration projects (Greenfield or Brownfield).

- In-depth knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and settlement processes.

- Experience in Project Definition, WBS, Networks, Activities, and Milestones configuration.

- Solid understanding of integration touchpoints with FI/CO (Controlling), MM (Procurement), SD (Sales), and PM (Plant Maintenance).

- Strong experience in data migration tools and techniques related to PS objects.

- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and convert them into effective SAP solutions.

- Good knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to Project Systems in S/4HANA.

- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Project Systems (preferred).

- Domain knowledge in Engineering, Construction, EPC, Manufacturing, or Utilities industries.

- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Agile or Hybrid delivery models.

- Experience working with global clients in multi-cultural environments.

- Exposure to project portfolio management (PPM) will be an added advantage.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
