SAP PS Consultant with PP Integration

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project System (PS) Consultant with strong integration knowledge of Production Planning (PP) to support and optimize our discrete manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP PS modules, with a deep understanding of how PS integrates with PP in a make-to-order or engineer-to-order environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP PS module implementation and support activities for discrete manufacturing projects.

- Design and configure SAP PS structures (WBS, networks, activities, milestones) aligned with project and production requirements.

- Integrate SAP PS with PP for seamless planning, scheduling, and execution of production orders linked to project activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP etc. ) to ensure end-to-end process alignment.

- Participate in SAP Implementation, testing, and enhancement projects.

- Develop and maintain project templates and master data for recurring manufacturing projects.

- Support project costing, budgeting, and settlement processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PS-PP integration, including order management and material availability.

- Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP PS with strong PP integration knowledge.

- Proven experience in discrete manufacturing environments (e.g., machinery, automotive, electronics).

- Deep understanding of project-based production processes (make-to-order, engineer-to-order).

- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- SAP certification in PS or PP is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration.

- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
