SAP PPDS Functional Consultant

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA PPDS based on business requirements

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications

- Design and configure PPDS Planning Boards, including custom layouts, views, key figures, and alerts

- Implement and optimize Detailed Scheduling, Capacity Planning, and Production Planning processes

- Apply and tune PPDS heuristics, including CRP, PP, and DS

- Create and manage PPDS Master Data, including Products, Locations, Resources, and Production Data Structures (PDS)

- Support PPDS data migration, cut-over activities, and go-live support

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex PPDS issues with strong analytical skills

- Ensure seamless integration of S/4HANA PPDS with SAP APO, SAP ERP, SAP MII, and other SAP systems

- Participate in end-to-end S/4HANA PPDS implementation projects

- Work effectively in a global, virtual team environment

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10 - 12 years of overall SAP experience

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a SAP PPDS Functional Consultant

- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA PPDS configuration and implementation

- In-depth knowledge of planning boards, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, and PPDS heuristics

- Experience with PPDS master data setup and management

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data model, and integrations

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

- Proficient in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with end-to-end S/4HANA PPDS implementations

- Experience working in global and virtual project environments

- Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain planning domains

- Willingness to travel globally as required
