SAP PPDS Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant with 510 years of expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP/DS implementations and rollout projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

1. SAP S/4HANA PP/DS Implementation & Rollout

- Lead and support at least one end-to-end S/4HANA PPDS implementation or rollout.

- Participate in business workshops, requirement analysis, Fit-Gap assessments, and solution design.

- Configure and enhance PP/DS functionalities based on business needs.

- Prepare functional design specifications for custom developments and enhancements.

2. Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling Expertise

Provide expert-level functional knowledge in :

- PP/DS Heuristics and optimization logic

- Shelf-Life Planning

- Safety Stock Planning

- Planning Strategies & MRP

- PP/DS Master Data: PDS, Resources, Modes, PPMs, Pegging, Product Heuristics, Lot-sizing

3. CIF and ECC Integration :

- Configure and support Core Interface (CIF) between S/4HANA/ECC and APO/PPDS.

- Ensure seamless data transfer of master and transactional data through CIF.

- Resolve CIF queues, integration failures, and performance issues.

Skills and experience required :

- At least one S4 PPDS implementation/Rollout experience is required.

- Strong SAP S4 PP/DS knowledge, Overall SCM knowledge is required

- Must have strong knowledge of PP/DS Heuristics, PP/DS Shelf-Life Planning, Safety Stock

Planning, ECC PP/MRP functions, CIF, and Contract Manufacturing business processes.

- Understanding of Clinical Trial business process would be an additional advantage.

- Should have hands-on experience in S4 PP/DS in resolving complex issues related to PPDS

- Master Data and PPDS core functionalities.

- Understanding of how DS tools in PPDS work & help businesses in day-to-day functioning is expected.

- Performing Unit Testing and Integration Testing for new rollouts, new developments, and regression testing.
