Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and configure SAP PP and SAP QM solutions according to business requirements.
- Configure Production Planning processes such as MRP, Capacity Planning, Work Center Management, and Production Orders within the SAP environment.
- Customize Quality Management processes, including Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Control, and Quality Certificates.
- Ensure smooth integration between SAP PP and SAP QM modules for end-to-end visibility and management of production and quality processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for production and quality operations.
- Support the production scheduling, order execution, and inventory management through efficient SAP PP configurations.
- Implement quality assurance processes, such as inspection lot creation, usage decision, and quality notifications within SAP QM.
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and integration testing to ensure the system is working as expected.
- Conduct training for end-users, providing support for the adoption of new SAP PPQM processes and tools.
- Provide post-implementation support by resolving issues related to SAP PP and QM processes.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement necessary custom developments, ensuring that the system aligns with business requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for all configurations, processes, and user manuals.
- Monitor system performance and work on continuous improvements to ensure the systems efficiency and meet business goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production planning, production orders, quality inspection, and quality management within SAP PP and QM modules.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
- 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP QM (Quality Management) configuration and support.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP PP processes such as MRP, work centers, production orders, and capacity planning.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP QM processes such as inspection lot management, usage decisions, quality notifications, and quality certificates.
- Experience in integration between SAP PP and SAP QM for end-to-end process optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production and quality management-related issues in SAP.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori or SAP UI5 for better user experience in production planning and quality processes.
- Experience in data migration processes for SAP PP and QM during system implementation or upgrades.
- Ability to understand and map business requirements to SAP PP and QM functionalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with business users and cross-functional teams.
- SAP PP/QM Certification (preferred, but not required).
- Experience in integration with SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) modules is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP PPQM solutions is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Experience :
- Experience with advanced planning and scheduling techniques within SAP PP.
- Knowledge of best practices in quality management and compliance regulations for manufacturing processes.
- Experience with automated production systems and integration with SAP PPQM.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
