SAP PP/DS Senior Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

SAP PPDS Implementation & Optimization :

- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle implementation of SAP PPDS solutions, with a strong preference for experience in S/4HANA.

- Configure and optimize PPDS functionalities related to Heuristics and Optimizer for production planning and scheduling.

- Work extensively with the Detailed Scheduling Board (DSB) to visualize and manage production schedules.

Advanced Planning Techniques :

- Implement Constrained-based Planning to ensure realistic and feasible production plans.

- Design and configure various Lot Sizing Strategies to optimize production quantities.

- Utilize Block Planning for specific industry requirements and resource allocation.

Integration & Master Data Management :

- Manage and troubleshoot data flow via the Core Interface (CIF) between ECC/S/4HANA and

PPDS.

- Ensure proper setup and consistency of Master Data relevant to PPDS (e.g., resources, products, routings).

Resource Management & Analytics :

- Implement strategies for Resource Optimization & Overload Handling to maximize production efficiency.

- Facilitate Interactive Planning and Analysis within PPDS, collaborating with business users to refine plans.

- Leverage Fiori Applications for PPDS to enhance user experience and accessibility.

Industry & Best Practices :

- Apply knowledge of Industry Add-ons relevant to PPDS, if applicable.

- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices for supply chain planning and detailed scheduling.

Mandatory Requirements :

- SAP PPDS Expertise : Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).

- S/4HANA PPDS : Strong experience with SAP PPDS in an S/4HANA environment is preferred.
Planning Tools : Proficient with Heuristics and Optimizer functionalities.

- Scheduling : Expertise in using the Detailed Scheduling Board (DSB).

- Fiori : Experience with Fiori Applications for PPDS.

- Planning Methods : Hands-on experience with Constrained-based Planning, Lot Sizing Strategies, and Block Planning.

- Integration : Strong understanding and experience with Core Interface (CIF) and Master Data integration for PPDS.

- Optimization : Knowledge of Resource Optimization & Overload Handling.

- Analysis : Ability to perform Interactive Planning and Analysis.

- Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with Industry Add-ons related to PPDS.
