SAP PP Consultant - Implementation & Support

Description :

- Lead and participate in SAP S/4HANA PP module implementation, rollout, and support projects.

- Handle end-to-end configuration, business process mapping, and master data management for Production and Quality areas.

- Work on Enhancements using User-Exits, BAPIs, and custom developments as per business requirements.

- Manage and support interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using ALE/IDoc technologies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, and WM.

- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging (preferably with strong ABAP debugging knowledge).

- Support business users in resolving issues, change requests, and process optimization.

- Prepare and maintain functional documentation (FS, Test Cases, User Manuals, etc.).

- Work independently and manage client interactions effectively with minimal supervision.

- Provide training and support to end-users and key stakeholders.

Production Planning (PP) :

- Master Data : Material Master, Work Centers, BOM, Routing

- Planning Scenarios : MRP, Demand Management, Production Versions

- Shop Floor Control and Order Execution

- Subcontracting and Stock Transport Orders (STO)

- Engineering Change Management (ECM)

- Batch Management and Serial Number Management

Quality Management (QM) :

- Master Data and Inspection Planning

- Inspection Lot Processing and Quality Notifications

- Defects Recording, Partner Determination, and Workflows

- Sampling Procedures and Inspection Schemas

- Master Inspection Characteristics and Code Groups

Required Skills & Competencies :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP configuration and support.

- In-depth understanding of SAP Activate Implementation Methodology.

- Good knowledge of integration points between PP and other modules.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

- Flexibility to travel based on project or client requirements.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, MCA, or MBA.

- SAP PP Certification is an added advantage.

- ITIL / Service Management training or certification preferred.
