About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Process Orchestration (PO)/Process Integration (PI) and API Consultant to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable integration solutions across our enterprise landscape. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in SAP integration technologies and a deep understanding of modern API-led integration practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :

- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using SAP PO/PI (including Single Stack Java and Dual Stack environments).

- Develop and manage APIs (REST/SOAP) for seamless external and internal system communication, following modern API development best practices.

- Configure and monitor interfaces, including various adapters (e.g., File, SOAP, REST, JDBC, RFC, IDoc, JMS).

Integration Strategy:

- Apply a strong understanding of integration patterns (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, publish-subscribe, request-reply) and implement best practices for optimal performance and reliability.

- Contribute to the strategic planning and evolution of our enterprise integration architecture.

Troubleshooting and Support:

- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex application and interface issues in production and non-production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.

Project Execution:

- Lead or participate in full implementation projects from blueprinting through go-live and hyper-care.

- Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Technical Management:

- Utilize application lifecycle management (ALM) tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, transport management systems) for change management and deployment.

- Maintain familiarity with cloud-based application development and integration principles (e.g., connecting SAP systems to cloud services).

- Ensure all integration artifacts adhere to quality standards, security policies, and governance models.

Required Experience and Skills (Must-Haves):

Experience: 5 to 12 Years of professional experience in SAP Integration/Middleware domain.

Core Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SAP PO/PI (versions 7.3 to 7.5) and extensive hands-on experience in API Development (designing, documenting, and implementing APIs).

Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices including security, error handling, logging, and performance tuning.

Project Experience: Must have implementation experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP integration projects.

ALM Tools: Hands-on experience with application lifecycle management tools for managing the development and deployment of interfaces.

Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively using tools like SAP PO/PI monitoring, log analysis, and testing tools.

Cloud Familiarity: Familiarity with cloud-based application development and knowledge of integrating with SaaS/PaaS solutions.

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Haves):

- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/SAP Integration Suite.

- Knowledge of API Gateway solutions (e.g., SAP API Management, Apigee).

- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for integration development.

- Certification in SAP PO/PI or SAP Integration Suite.
