SAP PLM Subject Matter Expert

We are looking for an experienced SAP PLM Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Management solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP PLM processes, with hands-on knowledge of SAP DMS, Engineering Change Management (ECM), Specification Management, Recipe Development, CAD/ECTR Integration, and SAP MDG integration.

The candidate will work closely with global business teams including R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory to deliver scalable SAP PLM solutions supporting product innovation and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end SAP PLM implementation, enhancement, and support projects.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP PLM solutions.

- Configure and support SAP Document Management System (DMS).

- Design and maintain Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes.

- Configure and support Specification Management and Recipe Development functionalities.

- Implement and support SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR) and CAD integration.

- Design and support SAP PLM integration with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

- Participate in SAP S/4HANA PLM implementation and migration projects.

- Configure document structures, document types, version control, and approval workflows.

- Manage engineering documents, product specifications, recipes, and engineering changes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement,

and Regulatory Affairs.

- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and user documentation.

- Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

- Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement continuous improvements.

- Conduct workshops, user training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and product lifecycle management standards.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of overall SAP experience.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PLM.

- Strong expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

- Hands-on experience with SAP Document Management System (DMS).

- Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Management (ECM).

- Experience in Specification Management.

- Experience in Recipe Development.

- Hands-on experience with CAD/ECTR Integration.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PLM is preferred.

- Strong experience in PLM to SAP MDG Integration (Mandatory).

- Knowledge of Material Master, BOM Management, Product Data Management, and Document Management.

- Experience in SAP configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently in a remote global environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- SAP PLM Certification is preferred.

- SAP S/4HANA exposure or certification will be an added advantage.

- Experience working on global implementation or transformation projects.
