SAP PLM Consultant/Specialist - Integration & Implementation

Description :

- Design, implement, and support SAP PLM processes including product structure, BOM management, document management, and engineering change management.

Configure and manage SAP PLM modules such as :

- Product Structure Management

- Engineering Change Management (ECM)

- Document Management System (DMS)

- Classification System

- Maintain and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) including material BOM, equipment BOM, and functional location BOM.

- Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) including workflows, approvals, and version control.

- Manage product master data, materials, documents, and revisions across the product lifecycle.

- Integrate SAP PLM with SAP MM, PP, QM, SD, and SAP PS modules.

- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to capture product requirements and translate them into SAP PLM solutions.

- Support CAD integration with SAP (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) for seamless document and drawing management.

- Implement and support SAP DMS for storing, controlling, and versioning technical documents, drawings, and specifications.

- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across SAP systems.

- Support product costing, variant configuration, and change impact analysis.

- Participate in system testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live support.

- Provide ongoing application maintenance and support (AMS).

- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and SOPs.

- Support audits, compliance requirements, and quality processes related to product data.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams during global rollouts and enhancements.

Skills :

- Hands-on experience in SAP PLM.

- Strong knowledge of SAP PLM architecture and business processes.

- Hands-on experience with BOM management, ECM, DMS, and Classification.

- Good understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.

- Experience with S/4HANA PLM integration is highly preferred.

- Knowledge of SAP Material Master, Change Master, Document Info Records (DIR).

- Experience integrating PLM with MM, PP, QM, and SD.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA PLM migration or implementation projects.

- Knowledge of Variant Configuration (VC).

- Exposure to SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center).

- SAP PLM certification preferred.

- Experience working in global or multi-country environments.
