SAP PLM Consultant - E2E Implementation

We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM Consultant with strong expertise in Product Lifecycle Management modules, specifically within the process industry. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in recipe development, specification management, and engineering change processes, along with solid knowledge of PLM configurations, DMS, and property tree management. The role involves supporting implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and providing functional leadership across SAP PLM-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP PLM Functional Expertise :

- Work extensively on SAP PLM functionalities within the process industry, particularly focusing on :

1. Recipe Management (RM)

2. Recipe Development (RD)

3. Specification Management (SM)

- Configure and support PLM processes including product data management, compliance, and portfolio management.

Engineering & Document Management :

- Manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes and related configurations.

- Support and enhance DMS (Document Management System), ensuring efficient document lifecycle management.

- Handle Engineering Records, workflows, and approval processes.

Data & Configuration Management :

- Work on property trees, classification, characteristics mapping, and value assignment.

- Manage VATS (Validations and Translations System), formulas, and calculations related to product development.

- Ensure accurate configuration of product-related structures across PLM.

Implementation & Upgrades :

- Participate in end-to-end SAP PLM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.

- Support blueprinting, system configuration, customization, integration, and testing phases.

- Assist in user training, cutover activities, and go-live support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with R&D, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Technical teams.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

- Provide functional support and troubleshoot SAP PLM-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5- 10 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5+ years in SAP PLM (Average: 7+ years).

- Strong domain knowledge of process industry PLM processes (chemicals, pharma, FMCG, food, or manufacturing).

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Recipe Management & Specification Management

2. Engineering Records & Engineering Change Management

3. DMS and lifecycle documentation management

4. Property trees, VATS, formulas, and calculations
