SAP Platform Director - Business One Module

SAP Platform Director :

We're partnered with a leading FMCG organisation currently undergoing an exciting digital transformation journey, anchored by a strategic SAP core systems upgrade.

As part of this transformation, we're looking for a dynamic SAP Platform Director to take ownership of the global SAP landscape and lead both operational excellence and innovation across platforms like SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Central Finance, and SAP B1.

This high-impact leadership role reports directly to the Global CIO and will play a key part in shaping and evolving the company's SAP ecosystem to support long-term growth and agility.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee full lifecycle management of SAP platforms across on-prem and cloud (RISE with SAP).

- Ensure secure, compliant, and scalable platform performance.

- Lead internal teams and external vendors to support SAP Basis and platform operations.

- Define and deliver SAP technical roadmaps and transformation initiatives.

- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and cost optimisation strategies.

- Act as a strategic advisor to SAP functional leads and business stakeholders.

- Lead key SAP programs including upgrades, integrations, and cloud migration efforts.

What We're Looking For :

- 7+ years of SAP Basis/Platform experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong hands-on experience with S/4HANA and SAP cloud technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, RISE).

- Proven track record of managing complex SAP landscapes in global environments.

- Strong knowledge of system performance tuning, integrations (PI/PO), and compliance standards.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Experience in large ERP transformation programs.

- Fluency in English (additional European languages like French or Italian a plus).
