Role Overview :

The SAP MMWM Testing Consultant is responsible for ensuring functional accuracy, process integrity, and seamless integration of Material Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules in SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems.

The role involves hands-on testing, process validation, and collaboration with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality, stable, and compliant SAP solutions for enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases for MM and WM processes.

- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across inbound, outbound, put-away, picking, and inventory management scenarios.

- Validate SAP configurations, workflows, and master data alignment with business requirements.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business users to analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage testing cycles, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution.

- Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, defect logs, status reports, and traceability matrices for audit and compliance.

- Ensure test deliverables align with project timelines, quality standards, and system change management protocols.

- Participate in system upgrades, patch testing, and release management to validate impact on existing processes.

- Contribute to test automation initiatives using tools such as HP ALM, eCATT, or Worksoft Certify to improve testing efficiency.

- Provide continuous improvement recommendations for process optimization and quality assurance practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and WM with proven expertise in testing and validation.

- Strong functional knowledge of materials management, procurement, warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics execution.

- Familiarity with end-to-end SAP business processes including integration points with SD, PP, and FI modules.

- Proficiency in developing and executing test scripts across multiple SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC).

- Experience working in structured QA environments with defect management and test reporting tools.

- Exposure to test automation frameworks or tools such as HP ALM, eCATT, or Worksoft Certify preferred.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA testing environments and familiarity with Fiori-based transactions.

- Knowledge of logistics execution, warehouse automation interfaces, and RF processes.

- ISTQB or SAP Testing Certification is an advantage.
