Job Description
About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Consultant MM to join our SAP practice.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP MM module with both functional configuration and technical (ABAP/Enhancements) knowledge.
This role involves working closely with business users, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation and support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gather and analyze business requirements in the Materials Management (MM) area and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Perform end-to-end configuration, customization, and enhancements in the SAP MM module.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers to design and implement custom reports, enhancements, BADI, BAPI, and user exits.
- Integrate SAP MM with other modules such as SD, PP, WM, and FI/CO.
- Handle procurement processes, inventory management, vendor management, and invoice verification configurations.
- Lead implementation, rollouts, upgrades, and support for SAP MM.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to optimize MM processes and ensure best practices.
- Prepare technical/functional documentation and training material for end-users.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 510 years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP MM module.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP MM configuration including Procurement, Inventory, Vendor Evaluation, Pricing, and Invoice Verification.
- Strong technical knowledge in ABAP debugging, enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, IDOCs, and interfaces.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM and understanding of Fiori apps preferred.
- Good knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (SD, PP, FI/CO, WM).
- Ability to work in end-to-end project lifecycles (implementation, upgrade, support).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- SAP MM certification.
- Exposure to EWM, Ariba, or SRM.
- Experience with migration projects (ECC to S/4HANA).
- Domain experience in procurement/supply chain management
