Role Overview :

As an SAP MM Solution Architect, you will be responsible for shaping end?to?end SAP Materials Management solutions. Youll lead solution design, integration, configuration, testing, and delivery in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to meet their strategic supply?chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Solution Design & Client Engagement : Work directly with clients to gather business requirements, define MM solution architecture, and translate them into functional and technical specifications using SAP best practices

- Detailed Configuration & Customization : Handle SAP MM setup across procurement, master data, inventory management, and logistics invoice verification (LIV). Identify gaps and design configuration or workarounds as needed

- Integration Expertise : Ensure seamless integration between MM and modules such as SD, WM/EWM, PP, and FI-CO. Provide architectural input and guide interface design and testing Ladders

- Testing & Validation : Lead unit, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and regression testing to validate MM configurations and integration's function

- Training & Knowledge Transfer : Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and user manuals for end users and technical teams to ensure smooth adoption and handover

- Project Governance & Team Collaboration : Coordinate with project leads, technical consultants, and business stakeholders to manage risks, timelines, and deliverables. Provide leadership in evaluating and resolving technical issues

- Continuous Improvement & Best Practices : Stay current on SAP MM and S/4HANA capabilities, recommend enhancements, and enforce best practices and governance standards across implementations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience : 1018 years in SAP MM, with demonstrated experience on both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations; at least two full lifecycle S/4HANA projects preferred.

- Functional Expertise : Deep experience across MM functional areasProcure?to?Pay (P2P), master data governance, Inventory Management, LIV, batch, STO, and vendor evaluation.

- Integration Background : Solid understanding of MM integration with FI/CO, SD, WM/EWM, PP, and external systems via IDocs or APIs.

- Problem-Solving Acumen : Skilled at gap analysis, root-cause identification, and proposing sustainable architectural or configuration solutions.

- Communication & Teamwork : Excellent at client-facing interactions, workshops facilitation, documentation, and inter-team collaboration.

- Certification & Education : Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; SAP MM and S/4HANA certifications are a plus.

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience in supply chain-heavy industries (e.g. automotive, discrete manufacturing)

- Exposure to master data governance (MDG) in SAP MM contexts JobtedExpertia
