SAP Consultant MM/PP & SD/FI Modules

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SAP Consultant with strong expertise in MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales & Distribution), and FI (Financial Accounting) modules to join our growing team based in Gurgaon. This position requires a thorough understanding of SAP systems, configuration, and business process mapping to support both implementation and post-go-live support activities.

As a key member of our ERP team, you will work directly with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design effective SAP solutions, implement configurations, and resolve issues. Your role will also involve participation in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and support initiatives across different modules.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Configuration & Customization :

- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system configurations using SAP MM, PP, SD, and FI modules.

- Customize SAP modules to support new functionalities, enhancements, and process changes.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, robust, and meet company-specific functional requirements.

Implementation & Rollout :

- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation and rollout projects including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment across business units.

Support & Maintenance :

- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for SAP users by troubleshooting and resolving functional issues.

- Handle incident tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLAs.

- Work closely with HMSIs SAP support team as an extended arm to resolve critical issues and perform root cause analysis.

Testing & Validation :

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Validate system functionality against business requirements and document test cases.

Documentation & Training :

- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.

- Document system processes, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.

- Train key users and end-users on new functionalities and SAP best practices.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Liaise with technical (ABAP/development) teams for implementing custom reports, enhancements, and workflows.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities.

- Communicate progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 38 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM/PP and SD/FI modules.

- Strong knowledge of business processes in areas such as procurement, inventory management, production planning, order-to-cash, and financial accounting.

- Proven experience in at least 1 full-cycle SAP implementation or major upgrade/rollout.

- Experience with configuration, testing, issue resolution, and process optimization.

- Familiarity with SAP integration points between modules (MM-FI, SD-MM, PP-MM, SD-FI, etc.).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Good understanding of ticketing tools and support methodologies (ITIL framework preferred).

- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certification in any relevant module (MM, PP, SD, FI).

- Exposure to integration with third-party systems and IDOC troubleshooting.

- Working knowledge of ABAP debugging or collaborating effectively with ABAP teams.

- Experience with SAP Fiori and modern UI5 applications is an advantage.

- Domain knowledge in manufacturing or automotive industry is desirable.
