SAP MM Manager

Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Manager SAP MM (Materials Management) to lead SAP MM initiatives across large-scale enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), driving solution design, delivery excellence, and integration of procurement and supply chain processes within the SAP ecosystem.

You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, guiding solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, and managing delivery of SAP MM functionalities as part of digital transformation or S/4HANA programs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Serve as SAP MM SME, leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Materials Management solutions.

- Drive end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements gathering and blueprinting to deployment and post-go-live support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FI, SD, PP, and WM, ensuring seamless integration across SAP modules.

- Define strategic procurement and inventory management solutions to improve operational efficiency and cost control.

- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

- Ensure solution consistency and quality assurance across multiple projects and teams.

- Participate in and lead client workshops, steering committee meetings, and governance sessions.

- Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to global best practices and company standards.

- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA MM innovations, guiding teams in leveraging advanced functionalities.

- Prepare and maintain project documentation design specs, configuration guides, test cases, and training materials.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

- 12+ years of total experience, with 8+ years in SAP MM (Materials Management).

- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, Valuation, Pricing Procedures, and Material Master Data.

- Hands-on expertise in S/4HANA MM functionalities, including Fiori apps, Business Partners, and Central Procurement.

- Proven experience integrating MM with FI, SD, PP, and WM modules.

- Strong knowledge of Procurement processes (Direct & Indirect), Inventory control, and Vendor Management.

- Exposure to Automatic Account Determination, Batch Management, and Subcontracting processes.

- Familiarity with LSMW, IDocs, BAPIs, and interfaces to third-party systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in incident, change, and release management.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience in S/4HANA Conversion or Greenfield Implementation projects.

- Knowledge of Ariba, SRM, or SAP Fieldglass.

- Exposure to MM integration with EWM, QM, or APO.

- SAP Certification in MM or S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.

- Experience working in Agile / SAP Activate delivery environments.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Information Technology.

- MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) or SAP Certification preferred.
