About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant/Specialist to join our dynamic IT team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP MM functionalities, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business requirements.
This role demands a strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, inventory management, and integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Configuration :
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and configure SAP MM to meet those requirements.
- Perform system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT support) and ensure data integrity and system stability.
Support & Maintenance :
- Analyze and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
Integration :
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration points.
Documentation & Training :
- Conduct user training sessions and create training materials to ensure effective system adoption.
Enhancements & Projects :
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to existing SAP MM functionalities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert advice on SAP best practices.
Reporting & Analytics :

Core SAP MM Modules :
- Inventory Management : Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Stock Transfer Order (STO), Transfer Posting, Physical Inventory, Reservations.
- Valuation & Account Assignment : Material Valuation, Account Determination, Split Valuation.
- Invoice Verification (MIRO) : Three-way match, blocked invoices, credit memos.
- Master Data : Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Source Lists.

Integration Knowledge :
Technical Tools :
- Experience with LSMW, BDCs, and other data migration tools.
- Knowledge of EDI/IDoc processes related to procurement (e.g., ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC).
