The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP MM functionalities, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business requirements.

This role demands a strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, inventory management, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Configuration :

- Lead or participate in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM solutions, including but not limited to Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements), Inventory Management (Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfer, Physical Inventory), Valuation and Account Assignment, and Invoice Verification (MIRO).

- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and configure SAP MM to meet those requirements.

- Perform system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT support) and ensure data integrity and system stability.

Support & Maintenance :

- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of SAP MM-related issues.

- Analyze and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.

Integration :

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other core SAP modules, including SAP FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and QM (Quality Management).

- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration points.

Documentation & Training :

- Develop and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and test scripts.

- Conduct user training sessions and create training materials to ensure effective system adoption.

Enhancements & Projects :

- Participate in SAP enhancement projects, upgrades, and new module implementations.

- Propose and implement continuous improvements to existing SAP MM functionalities.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert advice on SAP best practices.

Reporting & Analytics :

- Develop custom reports and queries using SAP standard tools (e.g., SAP Query, ABAP reports) to meet specific business reporting needs.

Technical Skills Required :

Core SAP MM Modules :

- Purchasing : Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Outline Agreements (Contracts, Scheduling Agreements), Release Strategy.

- Inventory Management : Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Stock Transfer Order (STO), Transfer Posting, Physical Inventory, Reservations.

- Valuation & Account Assignment : Material Valuation, Account Determination, Split Valuation.

- Invoice Verification (MIRO) : Three-way match, blocked invoices, credit memos.

- Master Data : Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Source Lists.

Configuration Expertise :

- Proficiency in configuring all aspects of SAP MM, including enterprise structure, purchasing organizations, plants, storage locations, pricing procedures, message determination, and output determination.

Integration Knowledge :

- Strong understanding of integration points with SAP FI (Account Determination, GR/IR), SD (Intercompany STO), PP (Material Staging), and QM (Inspection Lots).

Technical Tools :

- Basic understanding of ABAP debugging to analyze issues and work effectively with ABAP developers.

- Experience with LSMW, BDCs, and other data migration tools.

- Knowledge of EDI/IDoc processes related to procurement (e.g., ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC).

Reporting :

- Experience with standard SAP MM reports and custom report development.
