SAP MM Consultant - Implementation & Support

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead analysis, design and configuration of SAP MM modules (Procurement, Inventory, Material Master, MRP) to meet business requirements.

- Translate functional requirements into system design : SPRO configuration, master data strategy, and process flows for P2P and inventory operations.

- Manage integrations with MM-WM/EWM, SD and external systems using BAPI, IDoc, ALE and RFC patterns.

- Drive data migration activities (LSMW/BDC/flat-file), prepare test scripts, execute unit/integration testing and support cutover tasks.

- Provide production support and troubleshooting, create functional specs for enhancements, and work with ABAP/technical teams for development delivery.

- Deliver end-user training, documentation and stakeholder updates to ensure adoption and SLA-driven support outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have :

- 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM implementation or support experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA landscapes.

- Strong knowledge of Procurement (P2P), Material Master, Inventory Management, and MRP processes.

- Experience with SPRO configuration, master-data setup, and creating functional specifications for customizations.

- Proven track record with data migration (LSMW/BDC), testing (UT/IT), and production/support activities.

- Solid integration experience using BAPI, IDoc, ALE, RFC and working alongside ABAP teams.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with cross-functional and global teams across India.

Preferred :

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA conversions, SAP Fiori apps for MM, or SAP EWM/WM integration.

- Experience with Agile delivery models, CI/CD for SAP transports, and automation of regression testing.

- Domain exposure to manufacturing, retail, or distribution supply-chain processes.
