SAP MM Consultant

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM / PP Consultant with strong hands-on configuration expertise, solid functionaltechnical understanding, and end-to-end knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes. The role involves close collaboration with business users, technical teams, and global stakeholders in a multi-plant manufacturing environment.

Key Skills & Expertise :

- SAP MM: Procurement, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Material Master, MRP

- SAP PP: Discrete Manufacturing, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Production Orders

- Strong understanding of manufacturing planning, material flow, and shop-floor execution

- Functional understanding of RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)

- Experience working with IDocs, RFCs, and basic interface troubleshooting

- Exposure to SAP MM/PP integration with SD, QM, WM/EWM, and FI

- Ability to analyze functional issues using debugging support, logs, and error messages

- Experience working with SAP transport management, testing cycles, and cutover activities

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments

- Familiarity with JIRA / ServiceNow / Solution Manager for incident and change management

- Strong documentation skills (Functional Specs, Test Scripts, Process Flows)

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore delivery model

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, enhance, and support SAP MM and PP modules

- Lead requirement gathering, functional design, and solution validation workshops

- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP/technical teams

- Support system enhancements, rollouts, and production issues

- Perform functional testing, support UAT, and assist during cutover

- Partner with procurement, planning, and manufacturing teams to optimize processes

- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and process standardization across plants

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to S/4HANA migration or implementation projects

- Knowledge of QM, WM/EWM, Ariba, or MES/PLM integrations

- Experience supporting global, multi-plant operations
