SAP Migration Lead

Description :

Experience : 6 to 9 Years.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop detailed project plans, migration strategies, cut-over plans, and rollback procedures.

- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams (technical, functional, basis) and third-party vendors throughout the migration lifecycle.

- Perform migration assessments, system sizing, and compatibility checks.

- Manage stakeholders, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and timelines.

- Oversee technical activities including system copies, homogeneous/heterogeneous migrations, and SAP S/4HANA conversions.

- Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure all migrations comply with security and compliance standards.

- Lead migration rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and the final production cutover.

- Ensure post-migration stabilization, performance validation, and knowledge transfer.

- Drive continuous improvement in migration methodologies and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- In-depth, hands-on experience with SAP migration methodologies and tools (e.g., SAP DMO, SUM, SWPM, R3load, LVM).

- Strong expertise in SAP Basis and NetWeaver administration.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration paths is highly desirable.

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets (target 18 LPA), and resources.

- Strong knowledge of infrastructure (OS Windows Server, Linux; DB HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and cloud platforms (AWS,

Azure, GCP) in the context of SAP.

- Outstanding problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid/remote team environment.

Good to Have :

- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate System Migration).

- Experience with automation tools and DevOps practices for SAP.

- Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts during migrations.
