We are hiring an experienced SAP MDM/MDG Consultant to manage and govern master data processes in an SAP ECC AMS environment.

The role focuses on ensuring high data quality, seamless governance, and efficient production support across Customer, Vendor, and Material master data domains.

Key Result Areas :

- Data Quality & Consistency : Ensure high accuracy, standardization, and de-duplication of master data across systems.

- Production Stability & SLA Adherence : Deliver timely resolution of L2/L3 incidents while maintaining SLA compliance and system uptime.

- Governance Effectiveness : Ensure smooth execution of MDG workflows, validations, and approvals aligned with governance policies.

- Data Replication Reliability : Maintain seamless and error-free data flow across ECC, MDG, and integrated systems.

- Enhancement Delivery : Execute change requests, data model enhancements, and UI improvements within defined timelines and quality benchmarks.

- Process Efficiency : Reduce manual effort through automation and streamline master data lifecycle processes.

- Stakeholder Experience : Act as a trusted partner for business users, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and issue resolution.

- Compliance & Documentation : Maintain robust documentation and ensure adherence to data governance standards and audit requirements.

- Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement opportunities to improve data governance frameworks and overall system performance.

What Youll Do :

AMS Support & Incident Management :

- Provide L2/L3 support for MDM/MDG-related issues

- Troubleshoot master data inconsistencies, workflow failures, and replication issues

- Manage SLA-driven tickets via ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy

Master Data Governance (MDG) :

- Support MDG processes for Business Partner, Material, and Finance master data

- Handle CR workflows, validations, and derivations

- Configure and troubleshoot workflows

Data Quality & Maintenance :

- Perform validation, standardization, and de-duplication

- Execute mass data updates using LSMW, LTMC, or MDG tools

Integration & Replication :

- Support data integration across ECC, MDG, and external systems

- Troubleshoot DRF, IDoc/ALE, and API-based replication issues

Change Requests & Enhancements :

- Implement enhancements across data models, UI (FPM/Web Dynpro), and BRF+ rules

- Prepare functional specs and coordinate with ABAP teams

Testing & Deployment :

- Perform unit, integration testing, and support UAT

- Manage transports across landscapes

Documentation & Continuous Improvement :

- Maintain governance documentation and KT materials

- Drive automation and process improvements

What Were Looking For :

- 7- 12 years of SAP experience with strong MDM/MDG exposure

- Experience in ECC AMS / production support environments

- Strong understanding of Customer, Vendor, and Material master data

- Familiarity with Business Partner (BP) concept (preferred)

Technical Skills :

- MDG Data Models, CR workflows, DRF

- BRF+, FPM / UI configuration

- IDocs / ALE, data migration tools

- Basic ABAP debugging (good to have)

Good to Have :

- SAP S/4HANA MDG experience

- Central Finance / Data Harmonization exposure

- SAP BTP integrations and data quality tools
