We are hiring a SAP MDK(Mobile Development Kit)Consultant for one of our clients' MNCs.

SAP MDK Consultant / SAP Mobile Development Kit Specialist (Mid-to-Senior Level)

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Solution Architecture & Design :

- Lead technical design for mobile applications using SAP MDK and SAP BTP Mobile Services.

- Define mobile apps structure, leveraging MDK low-code constructs and reusable UI components

- Ensure consistent architecture standards and best practices during design and implementation

2. Development & Customization :

- Develop and enhance mobile apps using MDK DSL, JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript

- Extend SAP Asset Manager / Work Manager functionality. Experience with SAP Agentry is a plus

3. Integration & Backend Connectivity :

- Integrate MDK mobile apps with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other systems using OData and REST APIs

- Ensure secure and reliable data sync, including offline capabilities

4. Quality Assurance & Testing :

- Conduct code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to mobile SLAs

- Work with QA teams to perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

5. Deployment & Release Management :

- Manage CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/GitHub), and deployment via SAP BTP Mobile Services

- Support post-deployment monitoring, updates, and issue resolution.

6. Collaboration & Agile Practices :

- Collaborate across UX, product, backend, and cross-functional teams.

- Engage in Agile processes: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives

7. Documentation & Governance :

- Produce technical specs, API documentation, runbooks, and user guides.

- Implement master data governance within MDK context (e.g., for Asset/Work Manager)

8. Support & Mentorship :

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve MDK app issues (performance, UI glitches, connectivity).

- Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and mentor junior developers

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 4-8+ years in mobile and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, REST/OData, JSON/XML). At least 2+ years specifically with SAP MDK & BTP Mobile Services

- MDK Skills : Strong proficiency in MDK application development using BAS/Web IDE, DSL, custom controls, offline sync, and UI best practices.

- Backend Knowledge : Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration, OData service consumption, SAP Asset Manager, and Work Manager.

- CI/CD & Version Control : Experience with Git, GitHub, and DevOps workflows

- Agile Development : Previous experience participating in agile teams

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Certified in SAP MDK, SAP Agentry, SAP BTP, or relevant SAP credentials.

- Exposure to SAP Agentry/Work Manager architecture.

- Familiarity with Swift and Kotlin for hybrid mobile development

- UI/UX design awareness and experience collaborating with designers.

- Experience with React Native or Flutter frameworks

- Knowledge of network policies, offline security, API throttling, and related mobile service concerns.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.
