About the Role :

LanceSoft is seeking a highly experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join our team and contribute to global master data governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in SAP MDG-BP and MDG-M data models, a solid technical foundation, and hands-on experience implementing and enhancing MDG processes across complex enterprise environments.

This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient data governance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP MDG configuration and customization for Business Partner (BP), Material (M), and related domains.

- Design, implement, and enhance MDG data models, process models, and UI models.

- Develop and optimize SMT mappings, BRF+ validations, and derivations to meet business rules and data quality standards.

- Support data replication and distribution processes across connected systems.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and implement best practices.

- Manage support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with functional and technical teams for resolution.

- Work with ALE/IDoc and proxy interfaces to ensure accurate and reliable data integration.

- Participate in data migration projects, ensuring smooth transition and data consistency across systems.

- Contribute to system documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- 12+ years of total IT experience with 7+ years specifically in SAP MDG implementation and support.

- Proven hands-on experience in MDG-BP (Business Partner) and MDG-M (Material) data models.

- Experience with MDG-F (Finance) and custom data models is an added advantage.

- Strong proficiency in SMT mapping, BRF+ framework, replication, and data quality rules.

- Understanding of ALE/IDoc, proxy-based integration, and replication scenarios.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders.

- Experience in data migration, data validation, and go-live support preferred.

- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- SAP MDG certification or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
