SAP MDG Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant on SAP S/4HANA to design, implement, and support enterprise-wide master data governance solutions. The role involves ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance across core master data domains using SAP MDG integrated with SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and support end-to-end SAP MDG implementations on SAP S/4HANA.

- Configure and customize SAP MDG data models, workflows, and governance processes.

Manage master data domains such as :

- Business Partner (Customer / Vendor)

- Material Master

- Finance (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center)

- Design and implement approval workflows using BRF+ and workflow framework.

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and non-SAP systems.

- Configure Data Quality Management, Validations, Derivations, and Enrichments.

- Support data migration, data replication, and consolidation activities.

- Develop and maintain MDG user interfaces (FPM / Fiori apps).

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define governance rules, policies, and ownership.

- Provide production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA.

Expertise in MDG frameworks :

- Data Modeling

- Process Modeling

- UI Modeling

- Experience with BRF+, workflow configuration, and change request management.

- Strong knowledge of Business Partner concept in S/4HANA.

- Experience with ALE/IDoc, SOA, DRF, and replication frameworks.

- Understanding of data governance principles and master data lifecycle management.

- SAP MDG or S/4HANA certification Mandatory
