Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Logistics Execution (LE) Functional SME with deep technical expertise in Warehouse Management, Shipping, and Transportation modules to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end logistics solutions. This role involves hands-on configuration, integration, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless execution from blueprinting to post-go-live support while aligning solutions with global business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the functional and configuration lead for SAP LE modules (Shipping, Transportation, Handling Units, Serial Number Management, Shipment Cost Processing).

- Conduct Discovery & Design workshops to capture business requirements and map them to SAP functionalities.

- Perform gap analysis and propose SAP standard or customized enhancements for LE processes.

- Configure and maintain SAP LE-WM : storage location control, inventory management, picking/packing strategies, putaway/removal strategies.

- Implement Decentralized Warehouse Management (LE-IDW) solutions, ensuring real-time integration with ECC or S/4HANA.

- Configure and integrate SAP LE with MM/SD modules and third-party logistics systems via IDoc/ALE, BAPIs, RFCs, or middleware.

- Collaborate with AMS teams, external vendors, and BPMO for incident resolution, CR implementation, and continuous improvements.

- Define and maintain logistics master data governance (material master, storage bins, transportation lanes, route determination).

- Create functional specifications for RICEFW objects, validate technical developments, and perform unit, integration, and regression testing.

- Support global process harmonization and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory frameworks.

Required Technical Skills :

- SAP Modules : LE, LE-WM, LE-IDW, MM, SD integration.

- Configuration Expertise : Shipping point setup, delivery processing, transportation planning, route scheduling, packing specifications, HU management, shipment cost settlement.

- Interface Technologies : IDoc, ALE, BAPI, RFC, PI/PO or CPI integration.

- Warehouse Processes : Putaway/removal strategies, picking/packing optimization, cross-docking, batch/serial number handling.

- Master Data : Material master, storage location/bins, routes, handling unit types.

- System Platforms : ECC 6.0, S/4HANA Logistics.

- Testing : Hands-on experience in HP ALM/JIRA for test management.

- Documentation : Process flows, functional specs, configuration documentation, and SOPs.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with EWM migration or integration.

- Exposure to transportation management (SAP TM).

- Strong knowledge of global trade compliance processes.

- Understanding of RF scanning solutions and barcode integration.

- SAP Certification in LE or WM preferred.
