About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP IS-Retail Consultant with deep functional expertise in food and grocery retail operations. This role requires strong hands-on experience across core retail processes and SAP Retail modules, with the ability to support complex, enterprise-scale retail environments.

The ideal candidate will bring both strategic understanding and practical execution capabilities, working closely with business stakeholders to drive process optimization and system efficiency.

This position is critical to managing and enhancing end-to-end retail operations, ensuring seamless integration across store, distribution center, and vendor ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

- The SAP IS-Retail Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Retail solutions across multiple functional domains.

Key responsibilities include :

- Managing Wastage and Shrinkage processes to ensure accurate inventory control and loss prevention.

Supporting Centralized Bakery Production, including production planning, recipe handling, and distribution.

- Handling Butchery and Fishery operations with a focus on perishables, batch management, and yield optimization.

- Managing Consignment processes and vendor-managed inventory scenarios.

- Implementing and supporting Vendor Rebate Management to ensure accurate accruals, settlements, and reporting.

- Configuring and maintaining Recipe Management processes integrated with production and inventory systems.

- Supporting Store Replenishment and Distribution Center (DC) Forecasting and Replenishment to ensure optimal stock availability.

- Leading initiatives around Merchandise Hierarchy Redesign to align with evolving business structures.

- Enabling Store Assortment Planning to support localized and demand-driven product availability.

- Working with Unified Master Data Management platforms to ensure data consistency across systems.

- Supporting Group-wide Non-Trade Procurement platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate procurement standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Candidates must have strong hands-on experience across the following SAP modules and retail domains:

- SAP IS-Retail with proven expertise in Food and Grocery Retail, including retail-specific PP-PI processes.

- Deep understanding of Wastage & Shrinkage Management in high-volume retail environments.

- Experience with SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) for managing product development and lifecycle processes.

- Hands-on exposure to SAP MDM / SAP MDG or equivalent Master Data Management platforms.

- Experience with SAP F&R (Forecasting & Replenishment) or equivalent S/4HANA replenishment functionality.

- Knowledge of SAP PMR (Promotion Management for Retail) is preferred but not mandatory.

- Proven experience working in large-scale retail transformations or multi-location retail environments.
