Role Overview :

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant SAP IS-Oil with strong functional and technical expertise across upstream, midstream, and downstream processes.

The ideal professional will lead SAP IS-Oil implementations, rollouts, and optimization projects, enabling energy organizations to streamline operations, enhance visibility, and achieve business excellence through SAP S/4HANA and Industry-Specific solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of Oil & Gas business processes, end-to-end integration capabilities, and hands-on SAP configuration proficiency. The consultant will work closely with global stakeholders to design and deploy scalable, high-performance SAP solutions that align with evolving industry dynamics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead full-cycle SAP IS-Oil implementations and enhancements across the Hydrocarbon Supply Chain (HPM, TSW, DSR, TD, and Exchange).

- Design and configure business processes for Upstream Production, Downstream Distribution, and Midstream Transportation.

- Collaborate with business teams to analyze requirements, prepare blueprints, and deliver end-to-end SAP solutions covering Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Finance integration.

- Configure key components including Bulk Transportation Management, Product Movement, Secondary Distribution, and Terminal Automation.

- Integrate SAP IS-Oil with modules such as MM, SD, PP, FICO, EHS, and PM to ensure seamless process orchestration.

- Execute fit-gap analysis, functional design, and documentation in alignment with business and compliance standards.

- Manage testing cycles, cutover activities, and post-go-live support for smooth transition to business operations.

- Drive digital initiatives in SAP S/4HANA IS-Oil, leveraging automation, analytics, and cloud capabilities to modernize traditional workflows.

- Provide expertise in Hydrocarbon Product Management (HPM), including inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and pricing.

- Work with technical teams to optimize performance, develop custom enhancements, and manage system integrations.

- Ensure all solution designs comply with regulatory and audit requirements relevant to the oil and gas sector.

- Train users, provide functional guidance, and act as the trusted advisor for process improvement and SAP adoption.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 6 to 10 years of strong SAP experience with at least 4+ years in SAP IS-Oil implementation or support.

- Expertise in one or more IS-Oil submodules such as HPM (Hydrocarbon Product Management), TSW (Traders and Schedulers Workbench), TD (Transport and Distribution), or DSR (Downstream Revenue Management).

- Comprehensive understanding of Oil & Gas operationsfrom exploration and production to transportation, storage, and retail distribution.

- Proven experience in integration with core SAP modules like MM, SD, FICO, PP, and PM.

- Hands-on exposure to S/4HANA IS-Oil environment including embedded analytics and Fiori applications.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and process design skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities for business-facing roles.

- Experience working in large-scale, global SAP programs with distributed delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certified Consultant in IS-Oil & Gas or Hydrocarbon Supply Chain.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or conversion projects for Oil & Gas clients.

- Familiarity with Terminal Automation Systems (TAS) and Bulk Stock Movement Integrations.

- Exposure to SAP EHS, SAP Ariba, or SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions for the energy sector.

- Experience with Agile or SAFe delivery methodologies.

- Background in leading Oil & Gas companies, consulting firms, or large global integrators.
