Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) Consultant to support end-to-end supply chain planning processes, drive solution design, and implement best-in-class planning capabilities. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to partner with business teams to deliver strategic planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IBP modules such as :

Demand Planning (DP)
Supply Planning (SP)
Inventory Optimization (IO)
S&OP
Control Tower

- Work on SAP APO components such as DP, SNP, PP/DS, and CIF integration.

- Analyze business requirements and convert them into functional specifications.

- Conduct workshops for process understanding, solution mapping, and gap analysis.

- Configure IBP planning areas, key figures, attributes, master data, and planning operators.

- Support integration of IBP with ECC/S4HANA and other systems.

- Perform testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) and provide hyper-care support post-go-live.

- Resolve issues related to supply chain planning processes and system performance.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Logistics, Sales).

- Develop user guidelines, training materials, and deliver end-user training.

- Provide continuous improvement recommendations and support enhancement projects.

Required Experience & Skills :

- 4-10+ years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning.

- Hands-on experience in SAP IBP configuration and implementation.

- Strong knowledge of SAP APO (DP/SNP/PPDS) and related integration.

- Experience working in global template rollouts or multi-country implementations.

- Good understanding of supply chain concepts: forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.

- Familiarity with SAP HANA, CPI-DS/CI-DS, or SDI for data integration.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead discussions with business users.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP IBP certification (added advantage).

- Experience with S/4HANA Supply Chain.

- Knowledge of advanced planning tools or machine-learning-based forecasting.

- Experience in Agile project methodology.
