SAP HCM Payroll Consultant

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll / Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions.

- Design and maintain payroll schemas, rules (PCRs), and wage types.

- Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll runs, validation, and reconciliation.

- Work on Employee Central (EC) to ECP integration using standard SAP tools.

- Support time management and payroll integration.

- Manage statutory compliance (India or other country-specific payroll as applicable).

- Perform payroll testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams for enhancements and issue resolution.

- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments.

- Support year-end activities and payroll audits.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types configuration

- Knowledge of Employee Central integration with ECP

- Experience in payroll posting, retro calculations, off-cycle payrolls

- Good understanding of time management integration

- Experience in India payroll or global payroll processes

- Strong knowledge of payroll reporting and troubleshooting

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of SAP CPI / middleware integrations

- Exposure to HRSP upgrades and support packs

- Certification in SAP SuccessFactors Payroll or EC is a plus
