Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) :

Must-Have :


- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll / Employee Central Payroll, Time Management (Including Time Tracking) expertise for India

- Minimum 3-5 full life cycle Payroll implementations for US geograpgy.

- The consultant must have a strong expereince of SAP HCM Payroll processes and functionalities

- Deep understanding of SAP Payroll India Gross to net calculation, rules, Taxes

- Hands-on experience in carrying out year-end, quarter-end etc. with respect to India

- Experience in SAP HCM sub modules OM, PA and Time

- Design, configure and maintain payroll components including; wage types, benefits integration, deductions, off-cycle activity, garnishments, accumulations, date and period modifiers and reporting

- Configure and maintain all wage types and determine taxation rules, FI mapping, infotype association and permissibility rules

- Lead and manage payroll workstream to contribute to the overall project success

- Payroll Integrations

- Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development

- Understanding of Time Off rules,configuration of Time Objects, like Time Profiles, Time Types and Time Sheets

- Strong executive presence and ability to interact with Customer Top Management

- Experience in handling incidents and well versed in error analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving.

- Experience in proactively monitoring solutions and application and suggest improvement areas.

- Annual HR Support Pack testing, Year-end activities, Legal Reporting and related Defect Correction

Good-to-Have :


- Knowledge in intelligent Services

- Knowledge on other modules is an added advantage

- Conduct discovery meeting with customer by identifying the customer's current process and future state requirements and support in presales

- Good understanding of Employee Life Cycle Management processes in global organization

- Designing, implementing and supporting complex business process in an SAP SuccessFactors environment.

- Able to work independently and with others; self-directed; take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks. Results-oriented
