We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP HCM Developer to design, develop, implement, and support Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions within the SAP ecosystem.


The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll, along with proficiency in ABAP programming and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.


This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust and efficient SAP HCM technical solutions.


Key Responsibilities :


Solution Design & Development :


- Analyze business requirements and design effective technical solutions within SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, TM, Payroll, etc.


- Develop and customize SAP HCM applications using ABAP, SmartForms, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.


- Implement and optimize infotypes, wage types, personnel actions, and time management schemas as per business needs.


- Create and modify reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects).


- Integrate SAP HCM with other SAP modules (FI/CO, SuccessFactors) and third-party HR applications.


Implementation & Support :


- Participate in end-to-end project lifecycles - from requirement gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.


- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP HCM systems.


- Work closely with functional consultants and HR business teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.


- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


Performance & Optimization :


- Identify areas of system performance improvement and implement technical optimizations.


- Maintain documentation for all developments, configurations, and enhancements.


- Ensure compliance with company standards, data security, and SAP best practices.


Collaboration & Continuous Improvement :


- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and HR teams to ensure smooth integration of new developments.


- Keep up-to-date with SAP HCM innovations, enhancement packs, and industry trends.


- Contribute to process automation, continuous improvement initiatives, and solution scalability.


Required Qualifications & Skills :


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP HCM Developer.


- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP and HCM-specific programming.


- In-depth knowledge of SAP HCM modules - Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll.


- Experience with RICEF objects, SmartForms, HR-ABAP, and custom infotype enhancements.


- Understanding of HR data models, payroll schemas, and time evaluation rules.


- Experience with SAP integrations (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services).


- Knowledge of SuccessFactors or SAP HCM on HANA will be an added advantage.


- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.


- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


Preferred Skills :


- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 or SAP Cloud Platform extensions for HCM.


- Experience in SAP HR Renewal and ESS/MSS (Employee Self-Service / Manager Self-Service) applications.


- Familiarity with SAP Workflow related to HR processes.


- Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and version control tools (Git, SolMan).


- Certification in SAP HCM or SuccessFactors modules preferred
