SAP HANA/Cloud Developer - CDS View

Key Responsibilities

Native HANA & Cloud Development :

- Design, develop, and optimize data models and applications using Native HANA Development principles.

- Work extensively within the SAP HANA Cloud environment, utilizing tools like SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) for development.

- Leverage SAP HANA XSA (Extended Services, Advanced Model) for building microservices and applications on HANA.

CDS Views & SQL Proficiency :

- Develop complex and efficient CDS Views (Core Data Services) for data provisioning, analytical, and consumption layers.

- Write advanced SQL queries and procedures for data manipulation, transformation, and performance tuning within HANA.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting :

- Ensure the high performance and scalability of developed solutions through effective design and optimization techniques.

- Troubleshoot and debug data models, procedures, and applications within the HANA environment.

Collaboration & Best Practices :

- Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.

- Adhere to best practices for HANA development, coding standards, and security.

Mandatory Skills :

- SAP HANA XSA: Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA XSA.

- SAP HANA Cloud (BAS): Proficient in developing within the SAP HANA Cloud environment, including experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).

- Native HANA Development: Proven experience in Native HANA Development.

- SQL: Strong command of SQL for data modeling and manipulation.

- CDS Views: Expertise in designing and developing CDS Views.

Experience : 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in HANA development.
