SAP GBT consultant - Support & Implementation

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and implement SAP Global Batch Traceability (GBT) for end-to-end batch tracking.

- Set up batch genealogy, traceability structures, and integration touchpoints with SAP systems.

- Ensure the GBT solution aligns with industry regulations and internal QA standards.

- Integrate SAP GBT with modules such as :

1. SAP ERP (ECC/S/4HANA) : Batch management, logistics, production

2. SAP EWM : Warehouse batch processes

3. SAP QM : Quality management and batch results

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and process consistency.

- Define and optimize batch traceability processes for manufacturing, distribution, and quality assurance.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (pharma, FMCG, chemicals, food, etc., as applicable).

- Establish processes to support audits, compliance checks, and product recall scenarios.

- Provide training to key users, business SMEs, and operational teams.

- Prepare user guides, SOPs, and training materials.

- Deliver post-implementation support including issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvements.

- Analyze traceability data for audits, quality investigations, and compliance reporting.

- Support batch genealogy analysis, root-cause analysis, and supply chain visibility reports.

- Work with BI/Analytics teams to generate meaningful insights from GBT data.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP GBT implementation and support.

- Strong knowledge of batch management, batch characteristics, and traceability processes.

- Experience integrating GBT with ERP, EWM, QM, or related modules.

- Understanding of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and supply chain traceability needs.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and cross-functional environment
