About the Role :

We are seeking an SAP Functional Consultant / Lead with expertise in one or more SAP modules to support SAP S/4HANA implementations, enhancements, integrations, and production support.

This role is open to consultants with 2 to 12 years of experience, and the scope of work includes requirement gathering, process analysis, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration with multiple SAP teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise with the ability to work in complex, integrated SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities :

SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Support :

- Participate in full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and production support activities.

- Perform configuration in at least one core SAP module (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, SuccessFactors, or ABAP Functional).

- Analyze business requirements, propose SAP solutions, and prepare functional specifications.

- Support system enhancements, process improvements, and continuous optimization.

Requirement Gathering & Process Mapping :

- Conduct workshops with business users to gather requirements.

- Document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes.

- Translate business needs into functional design, configuration, and development requests.

Configuration & Cross-Module Integration :

- Perform SAP module configuration based on approved design.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration across modules such as :

FI-MM
SD-MM
PP-QM
EWM-MM
HR-Finance

- Resolve integration issues and align end-to-end business processes.

Testing, UAT & Deployment :

- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and test data.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Ensure accurate documentation of test results and defect resolution.

Production Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide L2/L3 functional support and issue resolution.

- Perform root cause analysis of functional issues.

- Apply SAP notes, patches, and enhancements when needed.

Documentation, Training & Knowledge Transfer :

- Prepare functional documentation including configurations, SOPs, and training materials.

- Deliver training sessions and workshops to end users.

- Support go-live and post-go-live activities.

Technical Collaboration (ABAP & Middleware) :

- Work with ABAP developers for customizations, enhancements, and reports.

- Understand and troubleshoot :

IDocs
BAPIs
RFCs

- Validate functional logic in custom developments and perform basic ABAP debugging when required.

Required Skills :

SAP Functional Expertise :

- Experience configuring at least one or more SAP modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, SuccessFactors, ABAP Functional.

- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, M2O, HCM, Warehouse).

- Strong knowledge of S/4HANA features, architecture, and simplification items.

Technical Understanding :

- Ability to perform basic ABAP debugging.

- Working knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and integration points.

- Ability to collaborate on functional specifications and validate technical designs.

Implementation & Process Skills :

- Experience with at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation or major upgrade.

- Strong skills in requirement gathering, documentation, configuration, and testing.

- Experience with UAT, training, and post-go-live hypercare.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

- Ability to work in cross-functional, global teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibility Areas :

- Deliver SAP configurations, enhancements, and support for assigned module(s).

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and map processes.

- Ensure correct cross-module integration and end-to-end functional alignment.

- Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure quality outcomes.

- Prepare functional documentation and deliver user training as required.

- Troubleshoot SAP issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate fixes.

- Work with ABAP and integration teams for custom developments and enhancements.

- Ensure system stability and alignment with SAP best practices.

- Adhere to project timelines, SLAs, and change management processes.

- Continuously improve processes and contribute to S/4HANA optimization
