SAP Functional Consultant - FICO Module

Job Title : SAP Functional Consultant

Location : Hybrid Any Genpact Location in India

Experience : 7 to 10 Years

Joining : Immediate

Shift Timing : 12 : 00 PM to 9 : 00 PM IST

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the primary SAP functional lead for finance modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, and Inventory Management.

- Drive end-to-end SAP finance solutions, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.

Solution Delivery & Process Mapping :

- Create and maintain functional design documents, process flows, and integration mapping.

- Translate business requirements into SAP configurations and functional solutions with minimal custom development.

Implementation & Enhancements :

- Manage and support SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancement engagements for enterprise clients.

- Perform system configuration, functional testing (including integration and UAT), and coordinate user training.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Collaborate with business users, process owners, and technical teams to ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams across different time zones in a global delivery model.

Issue Resolution & Optimization :

- Identify and troubleshoot issues in functional processes and SAP configurations.

- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7 - 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP Functional modules, specifically in finance domains.

- Proven expertise in SAP FICO modules (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Inventory) with the ability to lead complex finance solutions.

- Experience working in hybrid support/implementation environments.

- Proficiency in end-to-end process blueprinting, business process mapping, and ERP

architecture.

- Strong experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects, rollouts, and post-go-live

support.

- Solid understanding of integration points between finance and other modules (e.g., MM, SD,

PP).

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes and SAP Solution Manager.
