SAP FICO/HANA Consultant

Description :

- An experienced SAP FICO HANA Consultant with strong expertise in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, S/4HANA Financials, and integration with other SAP modules.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for system configuration, implementation, support, business process optimization, and driving finance transformation initiatives using SAP S/4HANA.

- Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and rollout projects for SAP FICO on S/4HANA.

- Configure core FI components : General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation, Special Purpose Ledger, Financial Closing.

- Configure CO components : Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA.

- Set up Document Splitting, Parallel Ledgers, Accrual/Deferral, Financial Close Cockpit, and other advanced HANA functionalities.

- Perform system upgrades, migration activities, and brownfield/greenfield implementation support.

- Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and design business solutions.

- Develop functional specifications, blueprint documents, process maps, test scripts, and training materials.

- Provide solution recommendations leveraging SAP S/4HANA Fiori Apps, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and embedded analytics.

- Support financial transformation initiatives such as automation, standardization, and digitization of finance processes.

- Collaborate with MM, SD, PP, PS, HR, and other module consultants to ensure seamless integration across processes.

- Integrate financial postings with procurement, sales, production, asset lifecycle, and project management processes.

- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP FICO issues across multiple geographies.

- Analyze and resolve end-user tickets within SLA timelines.

- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities and support finance teams in reconciliation.

- Optimize system performance and provide enhancements to improve financial reporting.

- Hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with strong exposure to S/4HANA Finance.

- Strong knowledge of Universal Journal, ACDOCA, S4 HANA simplifications, and Fiori-based processes.

- Experience with product costing, profitability analysis (COPA), and financial planning.

- Good understanding of GST, TDS, tax procedures, banking integrations, and Indian localization.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to lead workshops, interact with CXO-level stakeholders, and drive process improvements.

- SAP Certification in FICO/S4HANA Finance is an added advantage.

- Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT.

- Ensure quality deliverables and compliance with organizational standards

- Create detailed test scenarios and assist business users during testing cycles.
