Job Description - SAP FICO Consultant (Automobile Domain)

Role : SAP FICO Consultant

Industry : Automobile / Automotive Manufacturing

Experience : 4-10 years (customize as needed)

Location : Hyderabad/Chennai

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and support SAP FICO modules (FI & CO) for finance and controlling processes within the automobile manufacturing domain.

- Work closely with business stakeholders from finance, costing, production, and supply chain teams to gather requirements and design solutions.

- Configure SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA).

- Implement and support Automobile-specific processes including :

1. Product costing for components, assemblies, and vehicles

2. Costing run, overhead calculations, BOM-based costing

3. PP-CO integration for manufacturing plants

4. Material Ledger, Actual Costing

5. Warranty claims, dealer management finance integration

6. Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

- Create functional specifications for RICEFW objects and coordinate with technical teams.

- Support SAP S/4HANA Finance initiatives, system enhancements, testing, and UAT.

- Troubleshoot issues, perform system checks, and provide end-user training.

- Ensure compliance with corporate finance standards and internal controls for the auto sector.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration.

- Deep understanding of Automobile/Auto Manufacturing processes.

- Expertise in Product Costing, Material Ledger, and COPA.

- Good knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP, and QM modules.

- Experience with S/4HANA Finance is preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
