About the Role :


We are looking for a highly capable SAP FI/PS Functional Analyst with strong experience in S/4HANA implementation and support.

The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in SAP FI (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting) and SAP PS (Project Systems) with hands-on involvement in end-to-end build cycles.

This role requires strong analytical, configuration, and documentation capabilities along with excellent communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders across business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Design & Configuration :


- Perform end-to-end configuration of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and PS modules in S/4HANA.


- Develop and refine functional specifications for RICEFW objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.


- Ensure alignment of configurations with business requirements while following SAP best practices.

- Support design workshops, gather business requirements, and translate them into detailed system designs.

Implementation & Build Activities :


- Contribute across all build phases of SAP S/4HANA projects including system setup, configuration, unit testing, and integration testing.

- Participate in migration activities including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation for Finance and Project Systems.

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful development of custom objects.

Testing & Quality Assurance :


- Prepare test plans, test cases, and scenarios for FI and PS processes.

- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Analyze defects, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution with development teams.

Business Engagement & Support :


- Facilitate client discussions, workshops, and requirement clarification sessions.

- Provide functional support during go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

- Document key business processes, configuration rationales, and solution flows.

Continuous Improvement :


- Identify process optimization opportunities and recommend enhancements in SAP FI/PS areas.

- Remain updated on S/4HANA innovations, simplification items, and best practices to improve solution design.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 35 years of hands-on SAP functional experience in FI and Project Systems modules.

- Strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.

- Expertise in FI/GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Project Structures (WBS, Networks, Settlements).

- Proven experience in functional specification writing, configuration, and testing cycles.

- Strong understanding of core Finance processes : P2P, O2C, R2R, Asset Lifecycle, Period-End Closing.

- Knowledge of Project Systems processes : project planning, budgeting, cost management, settlements, and integration with MM, SD, and CO.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to clients and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot functional issues effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in at least one full life-cycle S/4HANA implementation.

- Understanding of integration points across FI, CO, MM, SD, and HR.

- Familiarity with Fiori applications for Finance and Project Systems.

- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology
