Project Overview :

- We are hiring Senior SAP EWM ABAP Technical Consultants to work on a S/4HANA Greenfield/Brownfield Implementation Project. This is a core implementation role (not a support or AMS project) involving end-to-end solution design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP EWM functionalities.

Working Hours : German / European business hours

Methodology : Agile / Scrum (mandatory)

Project Duration : Long-term (approx. 12 months)

Role Summary :

- As a Senior SAP EWM ABAP Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom EWM solutions aligned with business warehouse processes, integrating EWM with S/4HANA, and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performance-optimized technical deliverables.

- You will work closely with functional EWM consultants, solution architects, business stakeholders, and integration teams to translate complex warehouse requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP EWM Technical Development :

- Lead and execute ABAP developments specific to SAP EWM on S/4HANA.

- Design and implement custom enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms related to warehouse operations.

- Develop solutions for Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, RF transactions, and Monitoring.

- Ensure developments are aligned with SAP best practices and clean-core principles.

2. RF Framework Development :

- Design and develop RF screen flows and transactions for warehouse handheld devices.

- Customize RF menus, screens, and validations based on business processes.

- Troubleshoot RF-related issues and optimize performance for high-volume warehouse operations.

3. PPF (Post Processing Framework) :

- Configure and develop PPF actions for EWM processes such as :

1. Delivery creation

2. Warehouse task confirmations

3. Printing, email, and workflow triggers

- Enhance existing PPF actions using ABAP where required.

4. Warehouse Management Monitor Framework :

- Develop and enhance custom monitor nodes in the EWM Monitor.

- Implement custom selection screens, KPIs, and drill-down reports.

- Improve operational visibility and warehouse performance monitoring.

5. OData & Integration :

- Design and develop OData Web Services for :

1. UI5/Fiori applications

2. External system integrations

- Work with REST-based APIs and ensure secure, scalable integrations.

- Support integration with third-party logistics (3PL), automation systems, and MES.

6. Enhancements & BAdI Implementations :

- Implement and enhance standard and custom BAdIs across EWM processes.

- Develop user exits and implicit/explicit enhancements.

- Ensure enhancements are upgrade-safe and follow S/4HANA guidelines.

7. S/4HANA Extensibility :

- Work with In-App Extensibility options for S/4HANA.

- Utilize Key User Extensibility for custom fields, logic, and UI adaptations.

- Collaborate with functional teams to minimize custom code and follow clean-core strategy.

8. Agile Project Execution :

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies :

1. Sprint planning

2. Daily stand-ups

3. Sprint reviews and retrospectives

- Estimate technical effort and support backlog grooming.

- Deliver sprint-based development with proper documentation and testing.

9. Testing & Deployment :

- Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.

- Fix defects and performance issues during testing phases.

- Assist with cutover activities and go-live support.

- SAP ABAP (Advanced level)

- SAP EWM Technical Development on S/4HANA

- RF Framework

- PPF (Post Processing Framework)

- EWM Monitor Framework

- OData Services / REST APIs

- BAdIs, Enhancements, User Exits

- Agile Implementation Experience

Good-to-Have Skills :

- SAP Fiori/UI5 exposure

- Performance optimization in high-volume warehouses

- Experience with automation systems or 3PL integrations

- Knowledge of SAP Clean Core strategy

Candidate Profile :

- 8-10 years of relevant SAP EWM ABAP experience

- Strong understanding of warehouse business processes

- Experience working in international / European projects

- Comfortable working in German/European shift timings

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions
