SAP Developer - ABAP Module

Job Title : SAP Developer ( 2 resources India )

Exp : 5-15 years

Location : Bangalore

What youll be doing :

- Work closely with Business Systems Analyst team to determine optimal solutions addressing the functional requirements.

- Translate requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications documentation.

- Design, Develop and Maintain a diverse set of SAP Objects based on the business needs.

- Conduct design reviews, code reviews as per established SDLC guidelines.

- Proactively monitors and supports the production landscape to address issues.

Technical and Experience Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP analysis, design, and programming experience developing custom SAP solutions. Relevant work experience supporting Finance functional area is a plus.

- Proficiency in conventional ABAP development tools and techniques including but not limited to Classic ABAP programming, ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, IDocs, SAPScripts, Smartforms, Web-Dynpro, Web Services, Workflows, User Exits / BADIs / Enhancements.

- Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services CDS and AMDP.

- Knowledge of RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) is an advantage.

- Working experience in SAPUI5, Fiori and Screen Personas is a plus(not mandatory).

- Deep understanding of SAP Authorizations.

- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Debug, tune and optimize programs for performance.

- SAP certification is preferred.

- Ability to come up with estimates based on different levels of specifications at different stages of a project.

- Ability to work through and accomplish tasks in estimated time targets.

- Ability to document / explain / escalate issues appropriately through to the Management.

- Design smart technical solutions for different business process requirements.

- Ability to understand functional specifications and convert them to technical specifications and code.

- Conduct reviews of functional and technical designs.

- Experience with working in a distributed multiple SAP systems landscape.

- Within SAP systems, knowledge of the following modules is desirable for this position :

a. FI/CO, FP&A

b. Supply Chain Management

c. Logistics execution

d. Sales and Distribution

e. Materials Management

f. Production Planning
