SAP Datasphere Consultant - E2E Implementation

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant with hands-on expertise in end-to-end implementation of Datasphere solutions. The ideal candidate should have successfully delivered at least one full lifecycle E2E SAP Datasphere project, with strong skills in data modeling, data integration, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Datasphere Implementation :

- Lead and execute at least one full E2E SAP Datasphere implementation.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions aligned with business requirements.

Data Modeling & Development :

- Design and develop advanced data models using SAP Datasphere (Analytical, Relational, Graphical, and Business modeling layers).

- Build and manage analytical datasets, data flows, views, and transformations.

- Perform data harmonization, data mapping, and semantic enrichment.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize data models, queries, and transformations for real-time and near real-time analytics.

- Implement best practices for performance tuning, caching, indexing, and modeling efficiency.

Security & Access Management :

- Implement data access controls, authorization profiles, and security policies.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise data privacy and governance requirements.

Data Integration :

- Build and manage robust data integration pipelines using:

- SDI (Smart Data Integration)

- SDQ (Smart Data Quality)

- Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP and non-SAP systems (SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, SAC, databases, cloud sources).

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and BI teams to translate requirements into technical designs.

- Prepare technical design documents, solution architecture, and data flow diagrams.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years total experience, with 3+ years in SAP Datasphere.

- Strong expertise in:

- Datasphere modeling layers

- Data flows, transformations, and semantic modeling

- SDI/SDQ integrations

- Performance tuning and query optimization

- Data security and access controls

- Good understanding of modern data warehousing, BI, ETL, and cloud data architectures.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration.

- Knowledge of BW/4HANA, S/4HANA extractors, and CDS views.

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
