SAP Datasphere Architect - BW/4HANA Module

Position: SAP Datasphere Architect

Work Shift : 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST

Employment Type : 6-month Contract (Extendable)

Job Summary :

This role requires deep expertise in integrating diverse data sources and developing robust data layers using platforms like SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA Cloud. You will also play a critical role in developing analytics solutions and ensuring data governance and security, all while collaborating with key business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end data models and pipelines in SAP Datasphere.

- You will be responsible for defining the future state of data architecture, leveraging best practices for data modeling and data flow design.

Integration & Data Provisioning :

- Integrate SAP and non-SAP sources using advanced Data Provisioning and Federation tools. This includes establishing live data connections with platforms like SAC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and external databases.

Solution Development :

- Develop views and data layers using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA Cloud.

- You will apply advanced technical skills in ABAP, including AMDP, CDS view creation, ODP, and BAdIs to build robust solutions.

Analytics & Reporting :

- Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) based on business requirements.

- You will also implement SAC planning scenarios and remediation for S/4HANA.

Governance & Security :

- Implement data governance, security, and privacy protocols using the native capabilities of SAP Datasphere.

- You will ensure that all data solutions comply with corporate and regulatory standards.

Technical Support & Collaboration :

- Conduct end-user training and provide post-implementation support.

- You will collaborate effectively with IT teams, business analysts, and data architects to translate stakeholder data needs into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere, with deep knowledge of data modeling, spaces, and data flows.

- Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including story building, planning, and live data connections.

- Proven experience with SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA data sources.

- Robust SQL skills and experience with data transformation logic.

- Technical ABAP experience, including AMDP, CDS view creation, and BAdIs.

- Expertise in HANA-specific features like Calculation Views and fine-tuning function module extractors.

- A solid understanding of cloud architecture and data integration concepts.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with BDC (Batch Data Communication) techniques and a relevant certification.

- Experience with other SAP BTP services, such as Event Mesh or Data Intelligence.

- Relevant SAP certifications in BW/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud.

- Knowledge of Agile or DevOps methodologies.
