SAP Data Architect

Description :

- Design, develop, and implement data models using SAP Datasphere for analytical and reporting use cases.

- Build and manage Spaces, Data Products, and Semantic Models within SAP Datasphere.

- Integrate data from multiple sources including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, and non-SAP sources.

- Develop and optimize data flows, transformations, and pipelines using SAP Datasphere tools.

- Implement data replication and virtualization using SDI, SDA, SLT, and other integration mechanisms.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across enterprise datasets.

- Create and manage business semantic layers for consumption by SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other reporting tools.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Implement security, authorization, and data access controls within SAP Datasphere.

- Support performance tuning, data volume management, and optimization strategies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data load, modeling, and performance issues.

- Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing,

deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements related to SAP Datasphere.

- Create technical documentation, data models, and operational guidelines.

- Provide knowledge transfer and support to internal teams.

- Experience in SAP Data & Analytics projects.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).

- Solid knowledge of data modeling concepts including analytical models, fact/dimension modeling, and star schema.

- Experience with SAP HANA SQL, Calculation Views, and performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with SAP BW / BW4HANA is highly preferred.

- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.

- Strong understanding of data replication, virtualization, and transformation concepts.

- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration is a plus.

- Good understanding of data security, governance, and authorization concepts.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Knowledge of cloud data architecture and hybrid data landscapes.

- Exposure to Python, SQL scripting, or advanced analytics is an advantage.

- SAP Datasphere / SAP BW4HANA certification preferred.

- Experience working in global or multi-country implementations.
