Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI Middleware Developer to design, develop, and support complex interfaces and integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Process Integration (PI), and middleware best practices.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and IT colleagues to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing integration solutions that support business transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and implement interfaces and integrations using SAP CPI and SAP PI.

- Participate in the complete project lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

- Apply SAP CPI design best practices, including error handling mechanisms, exception management, and monitoring.

- Work on complex mapping transformations (graphical, XSLT, Java/Groovy scripts).

- Configure adapters (SOAP, REST, SFTP, IDoc, OData, JDBC, etc.) and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

- Collaborate with stakeholders and SAP teams to translate business requirements into integration solutions.

- Provide technical support for integration issues and performance optimization.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging middleware and integration technologies to recommend improvements.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PI and CPI integration projects.

- Strong expertise in SAP CPI architecture, integration patterns, and best practices.

- Experience in end-to-end design and development of SAP CPI/PI interfaces.

- Proficiency in mapping transformations (XSLT, Java/Groovy, message mapping).

- Knowledge of error handling, performance tuning, and monitoring in CPI.

- Hands-on experience with adapter configuration (SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, OData, JDBC, etc.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex middleware environments.

- Excellent communication skills for working with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA integrations and SAP Cloud solutions (SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, etc.)

- Experience with API management and integration with third-party cloud systems.

- Knowledge of integration security standards (OAuth, SAML, HTTPS, certificates).

- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodology.
