SAP CPI Consultant - S/4 HANA Module

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant to design, develop, and support integration flows between SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite, CPI iFlows, API management, and end-to-end integration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Development :

- Develop, configure, and maintain CPI iFlows using Groovy scripts, message mappings, adapters, and security artifacts.

- Build integrations between systems such as S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, SAP ECC, and third-party applications.

- Work on real-time, A2A, and B2B integrations using various protocols (OData, SOAP, REST, SFTP, IDoc, etc.).

Integration Architecture :

- Understand business requirements and translate them into integration designs.

- Build API-based integrations using SAP API Management, OData provisioning, and event-

driven communication.

- Support integration architecture decisions, best practices, and security standards.

Testing & Deployment :

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing for newly developed iFlows.

- Handle transport management, versioning, and deployment across environments

(DEV/QAS/PRD).

- Work closely with functional, BASIS, and business teams for UAT and production rollout.

Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide L2/L3 support for CPI integrations.

- Troubleshoot failed messages, error queues, and runtime issues.

- Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and enhancements to existing integrations.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite.

- Expertise in iFlow creation, content modifiers, scripts, message mappings, adapters (HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, IDoc, SuccessFactors, etc.).

- Experience with Groovy scripting and XML/JSON transformations.

- Good understanding of API Management, OAuth, certificates, and security concepts.

- Knowledge of Integration patterns, event mesh, web services, and cloud connectors.

- Experience integrating cloud applications like SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, C4C is an advantage.

Functional Knowledge (Good to Have) :

- Understanding of SAP functional modules (MM, SD, FI, HR, etc.).

- Exposure to SAP BTP Services, cloud transports, and event-driven architecture.

- Basic knowledge of middleware tools like PI/PO is a plus.
