As an SAP CPI / SAP BTP Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining integration scenarios across various SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) / SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity between business applications.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

- Design, develop, and configure integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI / SAP BTP to support end-to-end business processes.

- Perform message transformation and mapping, working with different data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, and IDoc.

- Integrate various systems using REST and SOAP web services, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure communication between systems.

- Implement and manage API security, using protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, and other industry-standard authentication and encryption mechanisms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially SAP S/4HANA functional and technical teams, to gather requirements and deliver robust integration solutions.

- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot integration issues, and participate in defect resolution and performance tuning.

- Maintain technical documentation for integration scenarios, mappings, and configurations.

- Stay current on SAP integration best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) / SAP BTP Integration Suite

- Experience with message mapping, value mapping, and content modifier tools in SAP CPI.

- Good knowledge of data formats like XML, JSON, and understanding of XSLT, XPath, and Groovy scripts.

- Deep understanding of web services protocols such as SOAP, REST, and API management.

- Knowledge of security protocols and standards including OAuth2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS.

- Ability to work with integration adapters such as SFTP, IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, JDBC, and SuccessFactors adapters.

- Familiarity with SAP modules, especially SAP S/4HANA.

- Working knowledge of ABAP (debugging, RFCs, BAPIs) is a strong plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.

- SAP CPI Certification is highly desirable.

- Additional certifications in SAP Integration Suite or related BTP services are a plus.

Preferred Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in SAP integration development using SAP CPI / BTP.

- Experience with API Management, Event Mesh or Workflow services on SAP BTP is a plus.

- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in integrating with SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur or other third-party cloud platforms.
